Today in CoaH Kids the PreK - 6th graders heard this story from Paul's 3rd missionary journey: On Paul’s way to Jerusalem, a prophet named Agabus took Paul’s belt and tied it around his hands and feet. “The Holy Spirit tells me that the man who wears this belt will be tied up, just like this.” But Paul could not be stopped. “I am ready to go to jail—or even to die!—for the name of the Lord Jesus,” Paul said. Meanwhile, the 2 & 3 year olds finished up their unit on Jesus is Alive!

This is something we should remember every Sunday, not just on Easter. Meanwhile, our older kids (PreK - 6th grade), learned about Paul and Silas' journey to Thessalonica, Berea, Athens and Corinth where Paul explained to them God’s plan of salvation. He said that only God should be worshiped. Paul talked about Jesus and the resurrection. People can know God because Jesus took the punishment for sin that separates people from God. Only the Lord—the one true God—deserves our worship.

That was an infinite sentence, but He must have satisfied it fully, because on Easter Sunday He walked out free. The resurrection was God’s way of stamping PAID IN FULL right across history so that nobody could miss it.
