This is our last Sunday to learn about Jesus & the little children from Matthew 19 in our 2 & 3 year old class. In the Pre - K though 6th grade classes, the kids learned that the apostles believed that everyone in the church had an important job to do to serve God's people and help spread the gospel. Jesus wants us to serve others so that the message of His death and resurrection can be heard and believed all over the world.

After the Holy Spirit came and the disciples began preaching the gospel, more and more people believed in Jesus. They met together and shared what they had like one big family. God blessed them, and the church grew. In our 2 & 3 year old class, the lesson about Jesus loving the little children continues to be a favorite!

Meanwhile, the kids in our Pre-K through 6th grade ministry learned that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to dwell within His followers. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, the disciples were able to begin their work in sharing the gospel with the entire world. Through them, many churches were begun!
